BOQ template import/export

Move BOQ templates between organisations or backups with CSV only.

What to watch for

• Import accepts CSV, not Excel or PDF.
• Product bindings do not cross accounts. After import you will see Imported · N lines need a product set (or the singular line needs) until you re-link materials.
• Import and create need the Site Admin or Org Admin role. Export from a row stays available to every role.

1. Export a template

1. Open Templates → BOQ Templates.
2. On the template row kebab, select Export.
3. Confirm the snack Exported {filename}.

2. Import a template

1. Select Import template (shows Importing… while the request runs).
2. Choose a CSV file from the picker.
3. When the import finishes, read the banner if present: Imported · N lines need a product set.

Success: the new template appears in the list. If the product-set banner shows, open the template and set materials on the unbound lines before you rely on it for new jobs.

3. Re-link products after import

1. Open the imported template.
2. For each line that still needs a product, use Set material / linked materials controls.
3. Work until the unbound count is gone.

Do not expect imported product links from another organisation to resolve automatically.
